So happy to hear from our Dutch friends. We are all very excited to hear from you. I was telling the children this morning that we are having a very Dutch fall. Up until today, it is around 10-15degrees every day. A little sun and a little rain. Usually at this time of year it is beginning to feel like winter, cold, windy, grey and sometimes snow. Today we got a few flurries and it is cold and windy. Sunday it will be 15 degrees again. Crazy weather. A town 2 hrs from us is getting 30 cm of snow today. Our teacher is very excited as she got new downhill skies and boots.
We are having a great year. Our classroom is separte from the school. It is called a portable. We are right out by the playground and we have big windows that let in lots of light. It is like being outside. We planted 6 trees this fall and added 2 big rocks to sit on outside. Maybe you could tell the children about Sinter Klaus.

This is a real good year !!!Yesterday i had a great day.A couple of people in the school were chosin to go to We Day.We day is a great place to be they show u how u can help people arrond the world and how u can make a diffrence!!!!! I think that we should all at least try to use a reusable water bottle that can make a big diffrence.Another thing is if u look at teh second picture u can see all the trees we planted.The reason we planted those trees was for a teacher that has been working at westwood for awhile and she retired.So thats whats going on at westwood whats going on at your school?????Id love to hear all about it!!!

You would think he would be sad or something but he was one of the most cheerful people I ever met in my life. He probably doesn't have any memories aaabout having legs. He had a story that he wanted to tell usbut I'll tell you next time I blog.

ReplyDeleteIn the middle picture we are standing next to the trees that we planted in our school yard. We also put two rocks next to two of the trees. Do you also see the stone path at the bottom of the picture? We made that to. Maby you could do that at your school yard.
Today we also had a special presintation from Ron Bachman. He had both of his legs amputated when he was fore years old. He then did not lie around all day, but instead he learned to respect the fact that he will never walk again. He did learn however, how to walk on his hands.
He is 29, and his daughter is somehow 31 years old.

School I think is fun because i get to see all my friends, I love art,and playing fun games in gym. I love christmas its so fun getting all the presents. We open presents on Dec 25th in the morning. We wake up early and go downstairs in our PJs and open presents. Once all the poresents are open we have breakfast. After we go to our granmother's. I have 2 older sisters. I like being with my family at Christmas.

Hi Ricky!!!! Its me again SKITTLE!!! Christmas is coming up and I am so excited!!! Christmas is my faveorite holiday! The only thing i don't like about it is how cold it gets. It's already cold in Cananda! It was snowing a couple of days ago! It is all melted now and we are back to a nice 5 degrees. I have live with my 4 brothers ages ranging from 2- 13.....it is alot of boys, so you can imagine the excitement at my house. the little boys are trouble makers, but i love them to pieces.For Christmas my family wakes up early on December 25 and we open up all our presents!
